The Thomas Register is by far the most difficult of these to use, but, unlike the others it can link you to the manufacturers as well as distributors. Wholesale Central.com and Closeout Central are probably the easiest to use and their members tend to be web friendly. Global Resources can connect you to thousands of overseas manufacturers. Buylink is a site you have to join to get access, but this is a very good site and you can purchase wholesale products in small quantities right on-line from the site. The Yahoo sites are just general search engines tied into the Yahoo database.

Trade magazines and directories are another excellent source of wholesale sources and information. They contain tons of information that sellers simply cannot fit on a web site.

Web Wholesaler is one of the best publications with thousands of wholesale sources in each issue.
