Closeout Dealers

Trademark Commerce is one of the few general dropshippers I recommend. What makes them different is that they actually stock the products they sell and their prices are close to the best wholesale price you can find as they buy large lots of liquidated name brand products. However, skip their program that offers you a pre-loaded website. Those types of websites are a waste of time and money and it is very difficult for Google to find you.  And if Google can’t find you… buyers won’t find you either.

The Liquidation and surplus market is starting to heat up. Businesses are under great pressure to reduce inventories and there are going to be some great deals in the months ahead. However this market has it's quirks and dangers. As long as you know what you are doing it can be very profitable.  Here are two articles about sourcing the liquidation market that you should read before diving in:

One of the largest and most popular online liquidation companies is Liquidation.com.  Frankly I often get complaints from readers who used Liquidation, yet they are used by hundreds of small eBay and website sellers who are very loyal to the site and keep coming back. I have never been able to put my finger on the problem but I think it may have to do with the fact that Liquidation is much like eBay -there are good and bad sellers. I strongly recommend you read the two articles above before buying so you know what you are getting into. The other piece of advice is to start small. Don't dump thousands of dollars into merchandise. Start with a smaller order until you get some experience.

Some other well known closeout dealers are:

Dealtree (a large liquidation company) and Best Buy have joined forces to provide the liquidation market with auctions for newly liquidated products. The new source is called Tech Liquidators. They specialize in liquidating damaged, devalued, returned, obsolete, overstock and liquidation merchandise. Their main focus is on consumer electronics, but they do have other products as well. For example, one current offering is for Callaway golf balls.

They auction products by the pallet or by the truckload. A data sheet is provided for each pallet being offered. Click Here to view a sample.

Products are received on a daily basis so check back often to view the newest auctions.

Mac Wholesale is a liquidator of a wide range of great products that work really well on eBay.  There are no products listed on their website because their inventory changes every week. Call them at 508-378-3500 and ask to be put on their mailing list and you will get an email with the wholesale specials they are running.

American Merchandise Liquidators sells Top Brand Names at Below Wholesale Prices. Closeouts, Overstocks, Customer Returns, and More. They sell to Off Price Buyers: i.e., Closeout Sellers, Brokers, Flea Market Vendors, Auctioneers, eBay Sellers, Wholesalers, Retailers and more.

Closeout Place has enormous buying power. They also have an enormous selection of NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL licensed team apparel. They have a 200,000 sq.ft. warehouse in Chicago. So if you live in the upper Midwest you can visit them in person.  They sell their items in case packs and the minimum order is $300.

TechLiquidators is a company owned by Best Buy, that liquidates overstocks and returned items from Best Buy and other large department stores. Be careful to only buy surplus and avoid “Returns.” Returns are items that could be broken and the boxes have been opened.

Jack Levy Sales carries a wide range of closeout general merchandise. They specialize in giftware, house wares, collectibles, novelties, and licensed items including Coca Cola, John Deere, M&M and NASCAR.Salvage Closeouts
